Zachari Logan selected for Berlendis Venice Residency 2027

Kosmos Contemporary Venice APS, in collaboration with Marignana Arte, is pleased to announce that Zachari Logan has been selected for Berlendis Venice Residency 2027.

Hosted at Spazio Berlendis in Venice, the residency will offer Logan a dedicated period of research and production in dialogue with the city, its histories, and its visual landscape. The project will culminate in a solo exhibition at Marignana Project.

Born in 1980 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, Zachari Logan works across drawing, painting, ceramics and installation. His practice explores relationships between identity, memory, the body and the natural world, often bringing together botanical imagery, art-historical references and queer embodiment.

Through a highly detailed visual language, Logan reflects on the porous boundaries between figure and landscape, self and environment, intimacy and transformation. His practice develops a sustained dialogue with natural forms, reimagining the body as a site of metamorphosis, memory and ecological entanglement.

Berlendis Venice Residency 2027 marks the first artist residency programme promoted by Kosmos Contemporary Venice APS in collaboration with Marignana Arte, expanding the activities of Spazio Berlendis through a project dedicated to artistic research, production and exhibition.

Further updates on the residency and the final exhibition will be announced soon.
